My daughter loves basketball! <3. She tends to get a bit tired of computer games as spring approaches, her own basketball season has ended, but it can still be a bit uncomfortable to go outside for long stretches. We had purchased some new spring sneakers, and we put together a mini basketball game. She taped everything together and decorated. I guided, and used the scissors to punch the hole for the spoon.

Before my kids were in primary-school, they wanted to share a room – which was really very sweet, as well as convenient. We decided to then turn the spare-room into an office for the entire family to share. I stored all of our art supplies here, set up work tables for the kids, as well as large recycling baskets. Here we placed any-and-all paper scraps. As the scraps piled up – the kids decided to see what they could create with the scraps (before later sending it all off to recycling). Despite having to peel off way-too-much tape – it was a fun experiment in creating from scraps that we already had, as well as disassembling and deliberately recycling our paper waste.
