Materials:
- 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Salt
- 1 Cup Water
Mix flour, salt and water in a bowl. If the dough is too dry, add a bit more flour. If the dough is too wet, add a bit more flour.
Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch or less, anything too thick becomes difficult to properly dry. Form into shapes. Use cookie cutters as a guide (if desired). We also used some of the tools from our Play Dough® kits, and freestyle is also an option.
Bake dough at 200°F – for anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours – or more. The dough can also be left out overnight, or longer and will naturally dry. If there is a lot of moisture in the air, it will take longer…
Once dry, paint and enjoy! Any leftover dough can be stored in an air-tight container for later use.
