Hot Pot :: なべ :: estofado

Prep Time: 10-15 minutes


  1. Plain Chicken Stock, or Dashi Stock
  2. Cabbage
  3. Mushrooms
  4. Sliced Carrots
  5. Medium-Firm Tofu
  6. Thin Sliced Pork Belly

How To:

  1. Place all ingredients into pot.
  2. Bring to a simmer, and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Use fine mesh skimmer to remove foam and scrum.
  4. Garnish with ponzu and Japanese 7-spice seasoning.
  5. Serve with warm steamed rice, or glass noodles.
