- Honestly, my daughter figured this one out. I think I searched for “FREE Coloring Book Apps” and happened upon “Joy Doodle.” I think she experimented with a few, and this one became an easy favorite. She can switch the backgrounds, pen colors, add solid shapes, and make short videos that re-trace her drawing actions. Super easy, and an independent creative outlet.
