PLAY: Paint & Draw in the Snow

Example of easy and fun winter outside play activity for kids of all ages.

“Can we build a snowman?”

Prep Time: 3 minutes (if you have the materials) / Play Time: Easily 30 minutes, likely a lot longer …

Materials:

  1. Heavy snow.
  2. All the snow gear. (Warm waterproof boots, snow pants, jacket, hat, gloves).
  3. Watercolors or Food Coloring
  4. Magnifying glass, binoculars, beach toys, pots and pans

Variations: Sledding, Skiing, Snow Shoeing

Instructions:

1. Gather all of the materials, and free play! (Just don’t bury yourself in the snow! Hypothermia!)
